At
FRIENDICOES we believe that medical care
is not just the prerogative of humans, and
that all sick, maimed, abandoned animals
entering our doors are to be given the best
possible care. Our trained staff consisting
of five veterinary surgeons, six Para-vets,
and twenty-eight shelter staff takes care
of each and every animal entering our doors.
We make sure that it receives the medical
care, love and affection and diet it deserves.
FRIENDICOES-SECA has a well-equipped
clinic for outdoor patients (private cases),
two operation theatres, diagnostic path-lab
with complete testing facilities and an X-ray
machine so that both pets and the stray
can receive a thoughtful and accurate
diagnosis. Most of the charity cases are
treated free or at the minimal of cost
since in India the loving owner might
be a poor owner.
Spay/Neuter of stray dogs and cats are an important
part of our clinical work. It is a big
commitment and it does cost money, which
is raised entirely through public donations.

FRIENDICOES provides housecall
services on prior appointments. Our team
of vet and para-vet will visit your place
to answer your pet's clinical needs. Grooming
service is provided to your pet at the
clinic premises any day during clinic
hours (although appointments are preferable).
We provide 24 hours services in case of
genuine emergencies. Although we do not
have a fully functional night clinic but
a vet is on call on all 24 hours for any
emergency cases.
Our clinic timings are (including
Sundays)-
9 A.M.-1.30 P.M. (Morning session)
4 P.M.-7.30 P.M. (Evening session)
Our clinic remains open on all 365 days
in a year irrespective of national holidays
and festivals |

The Friendicoes city hospital also boasts
of a pet corner containing a wide variety
of pet accessories-starting from fancy
chains, collars, toys, chews, shampoos,
soaps, dog-coats, mattresses, medicines
etc are available to animal lovers who
want to pamper their pet poochies. All
proceeds from the sale at this corner
goes towards running the shelter and feeding
of the shelter animals. |
